The Beautiful Tulip

This themed art event is inspired by the beautiful colours and varieties of the tulip. The graphic style of this painting emphasises the unmistakable shape of this much loved flower. Although the tulip is grown throughout the world, and is generally associated with the Netherlands, it originated centuries ago in Persia and Turkey. The name Tulip comes from the Persian word meaning turban.

This picture is a delight to paint and offers an opportunity for you to personalise it with beautiful contrasting colours of your choice. Come and have a go and amaze. yourself at what you can do!

No experience necessary. Our highly experienced art tutors will guide you through the process of painting your picture, step by step, so that you can relax and just enjoy the experience.

Located opposite Lochinver House School, this hidden gem is a friendly and hospitable venue for our social painting evening. Just right for relaxing and letting your mind unwind while you paint.

If you're driving, the lovely team from the Builders Arms will have some alcohol free mocktails. These are separately priced depending on the cocktail of your choice. If you're feeling peckish while you paint they have a selection of grazing food options on offer. However, why not arrive earlier* and try one of the yummy dishes from their full menu.

*food is available from 12pm onwards so plenty of time for a bite if you're coming straight from work. Art & THRIVE evening starts at 7:30pm.
