Get creative, be inspired and let your mind unwind at one of our Art & THRIVE social painting evenings. Experience how it feels to slap a bit of paint around, create a picture and feel good about it.

This themed art event is inspired by the song, Summertime sung by Ella Fitzgerald, just as the song is a real classic, this classic image of summer will send you off into lovely dreamy thoughts of long hot lazy days. This is a really positive and upbeat painting of a beautiful tree providing shade from the sun - guaranteed to lift your spirits as you're painting - even if it's raining and dreary outside. And of course, once you've created your masterpiece it's there to transport your mind back every time you look at it.

No experience necessary. Our highly experienced art tutors will guide you through the process of painting your picture, step by step, so that you can relax and just enjoy the experience.

The Winchmore

The Winchmore is an independent gastro-pub located in the heart of the Winchmore Hill community. Run with a 'hands-on' approach, owners Mark and Eimear Walsh boast a welcoming and friendly atmosphere where nothing is too much trouble.

The Winchmore is located within a short distance from Southgate tube station and has ample local parking. This venue's ideal location and friendly atmosphere is perfect for hosting Art & Thrive's social painting evenings, just right for relaxing and letting your mind unwind while you paint your fabulous themed picture.

This delightful gastro-pub serves fresh food daily with excellent choices on offer. If you're feeling peckish while you paint, on Monday evenings from 5pm until 10pm there is a range of pizza offers such as 2-4-1 or sharing pizza for £10. (Please check with individual venues prior to your paint night as deals or offers may change from time to time).

However, why not arrive earlier and try one of the yummy dishes from their full menu. Art & THRIVE evenings start at 7:30pm so plenty of time for a bite if you're coming straight from work.

Some events may include a welcome complimentary glass of wine and will be included in the ticket price, however this is a discretionary offer and is subject to individual venues and events.
