This themed art event is inspired by the song, Summertime sung by Ella Fitzgerald, just as the song is a real classic, this classic image of summer will send you off into lovely dreamy thoughts of long hot lazy days. This is a really positive and upbeat painting of a beautiful tree providing shade from the sun - guaranteed to lift your spirits as you're painting - even if it's raining and dreary outside. And of course, once you've created your masterpiece it's there to transport your mind back every time you look at it.

No experience necessary. Our highly experienced art tutors will guide you through the process of painting your picture, step by step, so that you can relax and just enjoy the experience.

The Robin Hood

The Robin Hood is a mere stone's throw from Enfield Town and within easy access of the M25 motorway, yet it's a world apart in the delightfully named hamlet of Botany Bay and with views across London from the hidden garden. Located on The Ridgeway, The Robin Hood serves fresh seasonal food with daily changing specials as well as locally crafted real ales and world beers.

The Robin Hood's ideal location and friendly atmosphere is perfect for hosting Art & THRIVE's social painting evenings, just right for relaxing and letting your mind unwind while you paint your fabulous themed picture.

If you're driving, the team at The Robin Hood will have some alcohol free mocktails to help you capture the mood of a fun painting evening. These are separately priced depending on the cocktail of your choice. If you're feeling peckish while you paint they have a selection of grazing food options on offer. However, why not arrive earlier* and try one of the yummy dishes from their full menu. *Food is available from 12pm onwards so plenty of time for a bit if you're coming straight from work. Art & THRIVE evening starts at 7:30pm.
