About The Event
Get creative, be inspired, and let your mind unwind at one of our Art and Thrive social painting day time classes.
This picture of olive trees, by French artist Henri Charles Manguin, is painted in a style called Fauvism and is based on the uninhibited use of bright non-naturalistic colour. With its many textures and beautiful contrasting colours, this style of picture is a joy to paint.
Come and have a go and amaze yourself with what you can do! Experience how it feels to dab different coloured paint onto a canvas, create your own picture, and feel good about it. Using acrylic paint, step by step you will learn simple painting techniques to create this style of painting.
No experience is necessary. Our highly experienced art tutors will guide you through the process of painting your picture, step by step, so that you can relax and just enjoy the experience.
All art materials and equipment supplied.
